this is my latest turd (well one of them) I picked this car up in some trade work for a guy....its a 86 LX coupe v6....my plans for this car is turbocharged 364ci small block.....I will start this project once my dually is mostly done.

This thread's been kinda dead for a while so I figured I'd wake it up.

My ol' lady needs a ride so she can ditch her Ford, well I'm more than happy to help. I had a '93 C1500 ext cab that was pretty clean other than a minor front crunch and a bad engine, was otherwise kinda too nice to just part it out so it's been sitting here maybe half a year or longer. Freakin' NICE tan bucket interior too. Door panels aren't even worn.


Engine has blown head gaskets or cracked heads, assload of coolant in the oil so no sense in trusting the bearings, just threw a good short block and some fresh heads at it. Had to degrease the engine compartment 3 times to get rid of all the power steering leak slime, pump was pouring at the shaft. Blasted it clean and hit it with the Rustoleum for the quickie.


Replacement engine installed...


Fired it for the first time tonight, no exhaust installed, just test-firing the engine for the hell of it.

Got some other goodies like a brand new set of 275/60's and some 8" squarebody Rally's, and an MP3/ipod deck. Might throw some shackles on it, will have to see how it sits when it's finished. I've got a whole project thread running somewhere else about this but since it wasn't a dually, didn't post it here.

Here is my old jeep wrangler sold it for the 05 it was stretched to 101 14 bolt rear lock full cage inside and out.

1946 Ford cpe. going with chassis works 4 link/fab9/tube A-arms/R&P steering/BBC/4 speed/Pantera factory magnesium wheels ....... semi traditional in that the exterior is DONE! Interior will be ALL rivited aluminum panels, bomber style interior.:

Currently building a 1976 Auston Mini 1000 for my sister.

It's been completely torn apart, and is starting to go back together. 1300 CC engine now instead of the 998, basically double the HP with the mods this one has. 10 X 4.5 rims are now replaced with 13X7's. She is a total transformation. Paint goes on once the weather is warm here.

Then comes my projects, my "Orange Crush" coloured 76 CCD, and my 1968 AMX.

AMX is old paint that is cracked, absolutely rust free, sitting in my heated garage, 500 HP 401 in the corner, 727 with a 3200 Stall. Should be a rocket at 3100 Pounds.

The 76 has been in my family for over 20 years, it was the summer holidays truck throughout my youth, It's where I learned to drive (and shift). It was painted 6 years ago, and the guy was paid to replace cab corners etc. Needless to say he only did the one he thought needed done, so it has some rust. It's stored outdoors, and needs attention, so I'm torn as to which one sees time after the Mini.
