A friend sent me a pic of some wheels on an international. They were 22.5s and had 5 large hand holes almost like my stock wheels. Would there be any clearance issues with these? I know they'll have to be machined. Will they work with adapters? Just trying to get a better idea about them.

Sound like every day alcolas.... need to be machined to 22inch so you don't have to stretch the tires and some adapters but what are you running for a stance? Dropped, bagged or stock? are you running a stock 16inch inner rear or big rig inner? if your running stock height no real issues the others will require some fixing. someone else feel free to fill in the blanks :)

Budd or Hub centric mount wheels? Hard to find adapters for Budd style.

if the lug nut holes in the wheel has a angle cut in it.they are bud wheels. or stud pilot wheels (hard to find adapters)

if the lug nut hole is flat across the face of the wheel. it is a hub pilot wheel (easy to find adapters)

im sure lockone will ring in and tell you all the dirty details that i have missed...:)

Most of these wheels that I have had/seen have been hub piloted. If they are hub piloted they will work with our adapters and most other companies.

If your truck is going to be bagged, you will have to widen the fenders at least 2.5" or more depending on the year of your truck.

22s are very hard to find in these wheels also. I have only handled one set the almost 10 years I have been in business. I have had several sets of 24s through here.

What would it cost to have them cut down to a 22? And how long does it take?

If they have a straight hole they are "unilug" and those are the ones that have been made for the last 10 years or more. The older style acorn style lugs are harder to adapt.
