I would like to make a stickie for guys to see how we are running our suspension. I would like you guys to post in here but NO WHORING PLEASE. I will move them to chronological order according to year as we go along. Here is how I would like you to post.

Year, Make, Model

Front suspension
Spindle or arms or stock
Kit if used
Bag size
Basically how you did the front

Rear suspension
Link type or leafs pulled however you did it
Type of joints
Notch size
Bag size

Thanks guys. This should help the new guys out, and probably some of the og's.

And it's not just for bagged trucks also static and lifted.

'77 GMC C30

Western Chassis 6/8-but it's more like 6/10-ish

Front:
3" Drop Spindle
3" Drop Coil
stock shocks

Rear:
Flip Kit
2" Shackle
shorter shocks (sorry, no P.N.)

Wheel/Tire Size:
16" stockers
(6) 225/75/16

The kit's pretty self-explanatory. Went on with minimal headaches. Western Chassis/Sport Truck Direct were real easy to deal with. I ended up removing the inner fenders and cutting a small hole in my bed to clear the pumpkin. I suspect if I didn't run the drop shackles, I wouldn't have had to cut the bed, but there ain't no getting around the inner fenders with this amount of drop. You're going to rub up front. A mini-tub would have been sufficient, but I opted to just yank them out entirely.

It's a real streetable drop. I use it as my daily so it get a lot of miles put on it. I haven't had any problems since I yanked the inners and cut the bed.

I'll definitely run this drop again on my next rig. Although next time, I think I'll run some helper bags as well.

*UPDATE* I raised the rear end up an inch on the shackles while I had the bed off. It kept me from having to cut a hole in my new bed. So far, so good.

You guys kinda missed the point on what you would change. I just meant with your suspension setup. And lets us know why you don't like something if you would change it.

1986 Crew Cab Big Block Square 6/10

Front: Western Chassis 3in. springs + 3 in. Belltech drop spindles with nitro drop shocks and custom tubs
removed bump stops and metal stands for bump stops

Rear: DJM 2" drop shackles, custom flip kit for C&C rear, step notch, relocated shocks, nitro drop shocks, custom tubs.
Western Chassis flip kit does not work with a square body C&C rear, a custom flip kit had to be made. Pulled overload leaves for smoother ride.

31.5 in. tall tires at the rear

29.4 in. tall tires at the front

Wouldn't change anything except bigger tires up front.

hows the ride comfort and wat pressure are you running in the bags i seen one running at 250 bar tankpressure , seems on the edge of the maximum pressure in a propane tank i want to use for airstorage
