They are the raw Patriot Clipster headers for a '69 Chevelle that Summit sells. I rattle canned them before taking the pics. I used regular paint instead of high temp. paint and now they are raw again. Either way the finish would have been ruined because they had to be slightly modded to fit right. The right side was rubbing on the frame and the left side was rubbing on the motor mount and hitting the oil filter on my factory oil cooler equipped truck. But, they were well worth it, the truck has a DEEP low end sound.

Well I haven't gotten much progress on the dually because of work but, now I am only working 5 days a week so i will have a lot more time now compared to before..
I finally got the billet pedals installed that I have had laying around since last year-
Image

I finally installed my new lockable K5 Blazer center console, I had to fab up some cutom mounts and use some parts from the old woodgrain center console-
Image

The truck is going to be my 4 door, 6 wheeled sport truck so I had a custom badge made for it at work and installed it on the console-
Image

I purchased a Gear Vendors Overdrive Unit and did a "stealth" install of all the electronics inside of the new console-

I do however have a lot of new parts which I want to have installed very soon.

Gear Vendors Overdive for my Turbo 400-
Image

Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap intake manifold which I cleaned up the ports on in the same way I did the headers-
Image

Image

Bigger pushrods-
Image

72gph electric fuel pump, Comp roller tip rockers, and cam and lifter kit reccomended to me by Comp Cams for my application-
Image

"781 Oval ports "assembled with stiffer springs," stud guides, gasket matched with some "nice" portwork, and "bigger stainless valves." These came off of a '70 chevelle drag car and they are "ready to go." The guy replaced them with some Dart aluminum heads and said my 781's "weigh a lot more but, damn near flow as much as the Darts."-

I think the truck is really going to wake up with the new parts and no loss of fuel mileage because of the overdrive.

When I ordered all the billet stuff for the interior I accidentally ordered 2 sets of front door trim pieces instead of 1 front set and 1 shorter rear set. I didn't want to go through the hassle of shipping them back to LMC and losing money on shipping etc, so I cut them to length, contoured them and used the leftover pieces aswell-
Image

I ordered another set of '79 front end style clear sidemarkers from LMC and installed them on the rear of the rear fenders with the reflector on the bottom and red LED bulbs since these lights are supposed to be red. They are very bright and I will post night time pics later-
Image

This is what the LMC water proof cover for a crew cab long bed fits like on a dually-
Image

I had to mark an X on the front because it is so long and I also cut some slits in the bed area because it would turn into a pool after it rained.

About a month and a half ago I hit a BIG pothole at the front right and the wheel traveled so far it broke the stock A/C box into pieces, it even pushed the blower motor up causing the blower fan to break when it hit the firewall. I bought another stock A/C box and blower fan and modded it with a freind that works at a body shop. The blower motor was cut and raised up much as possible without the fan rubbing on anything and the A/C box was cut as much as possible on the area close to the tire and fiberglassed. It gained about another 2 inches of clearance- :quagmire:

The paint/bodywork are going to be some of my last mods but I already have all the parts for that aswell:

New cab corners and clear LED roof lights for the cab-
Image

New smooth tailgate-Image

ALL new weatherstrippings, door seals, and misc nuts and bolts for the cab-
Image

Tailgate handle relocation kit and K5 Blazer tailgate band that I have alredy modded to fit on the truck tailgate so I can have a shaved handle with no metal work-
Image

Polished trim for the stock grille that I had to make cut outs for the bowtie in order to work on my grille. And some later model square body 'burban mirrors. These mirrors were only made 1 or 2 years and there is not enough demand for them, nobody makes them. It took me a long time to find a decent pair.-
Image

It also took me a long time to find this metal piece that fills in the gap in between the bumper and the bed, it came on K5 Blazers and some 'burbans. :
Image

I've also done other small things that probably nobody notices except me like have the key holes shaved and add some "bling" under the hood.

Thanks guys. And no I don't have any plans to body drop it but it's notched and tubbed to layout in case I decide to bag it later. I would however like to run a vintage air setup so I can static drop the front another inch on bigger tires.

wide load...did you literally turn and flip the rearend? looking at your pics it looks like you did without a flip kit. Everything looks the same just upside down is this correct?

LOL, hell no. I'm running a rebuilt '85 model C&C rear which is a FF 14 bolt. It does look upside down compared to the stock rear when looking at the diff. cover.... The Western Chassis flip kit does not work with this C&C, so a custom one was made.
