Figured I'd start a build thread aswell. Cause I'm gonna be doing alot of changin' to this thing.
What I'm startin' with:
Image

Did some work. Clearanced cowl hood for the new K&N filter and upper stainless coolant pipe (not a real fan of the shiney chrome look, but didn't want to hassle around at the parts store tryin' to find a hose that would work). Gonna also change out the lower hose because it's resting/roubing the frame rail. Threw in an optima red top too, since the old battery was crap.

Image

Went to air up the tanks and the wires started to fry. Awesome, some other shit to fix before I drive it. oh well.

Have no idea, but there was a square body black body dropped in SC I wanted but dude would never get back to me. I hate mautofied no one gets back to me or they have something really shitty and stupid to trade. lol

My buddy had it for the past year atleast and I don't think he ever put it on that website.

Wanna trade? lol Your white one looks nice.

Dont worry mang, I'll have this one lookin' good again here shortly. Gonna paint blend in the to match for now to get it all back one colorand half way presentable.

Still got to get up with Randy and get some of the other parts for the truck. mainly the lugs and centercaps for the 19's.

Did it really have a diesel in it? I was reading the specs in your build page for it. I wouldn't mind a diesel in it then I'd really want one of those three car wedge trailers. lol

They supposedly put a shift kit in it, but I like to call it the "no shift" kit. it'll rev way past redline and still won't shift until you let off the gas. I hate it. Gonna buy a stock trans valve assembly and swap it out.

Installed some late modle mirrors today, not too sure if I like them yet. Still have to mod the bases if I end up using them. Gonna install the front HD flares tomorrow and trim out the metal underneath a little so I can turn with a little less air pressure.

Can't wait til I have a little time to paint this thing. Get it all one color.

Painted the bumper quick like, messed aroung with the lights, changed to a GMC grille, orange marker lights.

Image

Gonna get some stock parking light assemblies and orange side markers, think those will look better than the smoked.

Got all the spikey bullshit out the bed, hacked out the gooseneck hitch and unbolted the air tanks.
Tanks are going under the back half of the bed, rest is going in the garbage. Redoing the bag mounts, going on the side of the frame and on the 2 link bars. Going for a little more lift and gonna get my bed floor back. Gonna extend the wheel tubs to cover the notches. gonna have to do a little something to the hacked area near the tailgate as well. Keep the sawzall away. lol I didn't do that.
