Stock carrier bearing location is fine, I say keep the sway bar. Get with Campy on what to mod to keep it.
I had to lose the sway bar because of my custom flip kit for the C&C rear and because my new deep diff. cover would have been hitting it anyway. Truck looks good.

the bed bolts wasnt that hard to get out.....the gooseneck in the bolt was paint the nuts were welded to the frame which isnt a bad thing untill you add the 30yrs of rust that holds the bolt to the nuts...

here what all im putting on it

6/8.5 with the helper air bags

all new ball joint upper and lower
control arm bushing
sway bar bushing front and rear
body mount bushing

and im going to ditch the running boards so it should have a different look and hopefully ride better when im done with it

You only have to remove the top overload leaf but, I removed the lower one aswell for a better ride. Since you went with the helper bags you can probably remove more.

No I haven't pulled with mine. But, I might be putting my Lincoln welding machine (1,2000 lbs.) and some tools in the bed later at which point the over load leaves will be going back on and the spacers on top of the leaves will be removed to try and keep it at the same height. Luckily you have helper bags.

I did the exact same kit, removed the overloads to raise the rear a little, kept the swaybar, and trimmed a little more off the front springs to get it to sit right. Check my post on the process...

whats even better is in the institutions it under the 73-87 crew cabs ect it says after removing the top over load leaf spring install the new centering pin on the leaf spring pack because the new one is shorter.....(there more to it i just summed it up)

when i called them they told me that bolt is not part of that kit only for the 88 and up

so i ended up just threading the bolt up a ways and cutting the access off

i would have photos tonight but i forgot my camera at my shop the rear is almost done just need to install the cnotch i put the shock on finished tighting everything up and installed the sway bar with alil mods

?????????I do have one ? my shock mount on the pass side is roughly 2 inch smaller then the other side so will i be bottoming that shock out first when i was looking at it i thought i put on the wrong shock but both have the same part number and the ones for the front are a diff part number than the ones i put on the rear

???????? does anyone have the part number to the rear sway bar bushing Ive went to several auto parts store and no one can find them
