I can see through between the edge of the seat in the front and the rocker panel (where the seat hump goes down to meet the rocker).

How much of a rusty floor from a Regular Cab (stuff available from GM or LMC etc) is useable on a Crew Cab? I have seen no source for Crew Cab floors, and I imagine they don't exist. Does anyone know otherwise?

I am excited to get my project going and am looking into whether I need to find a new cab. The floors generally look rusty from below, but I haven't blasted to see how bad they are. The previous owner left it parked without the drip rails above the doors, so the carpets have been wet for along time. I hope that is what caused the rust and that it is localized.

Any experience would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone in the NW (or western Canada) has a good cab I would be more than interested in it. I live in central Alberta. The idea of building a new cab while still using the truck appeals to me.

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

P.S. Do suburban floors work for the most part?

Selling my dually. Decided I would rather spend the time with my kids. Also no matter what the GCWR is not up to towing my 33' 5th wheel, so with British Columbia and California being Socialist republics I decided to upgrade.

2010 MegaCab 3500 Diesel

Beautiful truck, and only twice what my restoration was going to cost me lol.

GL all, hope to sell my truck to my sister, buy it back in 5 years, and make it a toy with no hitches.
