first off ,sorry to botha ya.I gut 2 sets of spindles, one set from bell tech :dropped 1 tons (got em 4 free @ junkyard, hid em under some crap in wheelbarrow!! FREEBIE) the other is from a 3/4 ton sub. figured i could use the rotors from the sub on the one ton spindle, they fit except the brake pad falls right through caliper on to the rotor researched this friggn site for a week and think theres a diffrence in rotor thickness between 3/4 ton and 1 ton srw.went to autozone looked up 1 ton srw front rotors and they came up with the freakn same thickness rotor as the 3/4 ton suburban.(1.125 min thickness) i need the 1.486 min thickness. wtf am i doin wrong? am i outta ouda or what? anyhow im frustrated any part #s out here.thanks in advance. dont think this computa is capable of postn any pics.gutta go some where 2 do it.wheres that guy from vegas? u there

What year trucks did the rotors come off of? I though only the 89 and back year model trucks had different rotor thickness'.

As for lifting the spindles. We shoot people where I come from for actions like that.
Also Autozone does not have the best part # resource either. You may have better luck at another store.

I would use a uniball setup for the balljoint instead on the heim joints but they will do the job fine also. Price sounds about right for some good Chevy rotors.

You were probably in White House or Lebanon looking at the Tour Bus companies that is where they all are.

Next time your in TN just drop on by the shop.
