Hi, I'm jeff... and I'm.... addicted to dumping money into cars and selling them.

I got this beater 94 3500 Standard cab dually to use as a garbage truck hauls to dump and pull my mustang around if need be but after seeing this site I think I'm going to put it in the weeds and cruise it a little too.

Body is in good shape but it has a seriously large service bed on it. Worse yet they welded it to the frame. I'm going to cut it off and junk it, lots of rust on it.

Was cheap but has no reverse so I'm dropping the trans right now to rebuild it.

Looks like some good ideas running around here and I have lots of questions!

Maybe someone can help me with identifying what I have here. In the door jam it says something about cab and chassis. Does that mean this isn't a regular truck dually that would have had a bed on it? I was planning on putting a bed on it but it sounds like that's not going to work if If this is a longer chassis.

But from what I've been reading it looks like the Rear axle is narrower so I'd have to move in the wheel wells. I guess its not good for what I wanted. Fix the trans and sell I guess.
