Hey all, this is a little awkward. I read the "before you post" thread and it said to post pictures of yourself and your truck in your first post. I am currently awaiting a check to go get a 1996 Chevy Crew Cab Dually 4x4 with the 6.5l turbo diesel. Its a white truck with IMO the ugly blue interior. I became a member because I have been browsing this website for the last two straight weeks and just wanted to tell everyone thank you for the information I have read about the trucks. Some of you guys have very twisted senses of humor and being military I figure I will fit right in! I will post pictures of the truck, however I currently don't have it here to show everything. Sorry its so small!

Thanks for the welcome. I hope to have lots of fun with my dually, probably will catch some grief because I am planning on lifting it and most of the stuff I am seeing on here is all about lowering and bagging their rides!

welcome man . glad you decided to join. sounds like a nice project you have lined up. and yes its true that a majority of guys here are lowered and ect.. but theres nothing wrong with a clean badass lifted 4x4 dually. cant wait for the build to start.

I am most excited because my truck is a 6.5l turbo diesel. The same motor I work on at work. Escpecially nice considering the parts that we throw away that will now find a home in the back seat of my truck until i get them home.

Jitterguy, when you coming back? We are starting to see the people coming back from 3rd already. What unit you in? I am in the 159th CAB. My unit is deploying however I got here just a little too late from Bragg and there are not spots for me to deploy with my unit. Kinda bumming but everyone says that Stan is not really a place to be right now. I told them I don't care, this is what I signed up for!
