I've been a member for a while, but just lurking. Finally picked up a truck a couple months ago off Fleabay. If anyone knows who worked on it, let me know. I'd like to say a thing or two to them.

I'm thinking of just scuffing and spraying some rattle can white on there this winter. I want to bodydrop it during the extreme cold months of Iowa. I need to really redo the rear suspension too. The previous owners have 1/2" bolts in the rear hangers where they should have been 14mm like stock. I don't know how long they drove it like that, but those holes are EGGED out!

I thought it would be cheaper to get a project that was already done, rather than a stock one and start on it. Well, I should have just bought a stocker and went that route.

i'm in the same boat loweredd. i picked up my dually and knew there was some things wrong but i didn't think it was much. well once i started really going over it i found all sorts of things that i think are unacceptable.just remember its nothing that can't be fixed and they're saying this winter is supposed to be nasty for us. lots of cold and a lot more snow then we've seen in awhile.
i guess lucky for me is i plow snow so i pray for it to fund my project.
