sorry guy's been busy.

What pic's would you like to see? Are you running shocks in the rear? I am going to change my setup. The truck was done the old way and i need to change something around. It does not lay in the front because the headers hit before the crossbeam so the guy welded a 1" square stock on the fame ( lame ) the back does not lay because the hangers for the four link hit the ground and the rear end hits the crossbar setup. It's hard to fix these things when you don't have a welder and can't weld.

I would put a 4L80E in it. I am doing the same thing with my 88 Square. As for the controler, Baumann electronic controls has a product called Optishift for a stand alone controler, with only a few wires to hook up. The speedo issue will require a new tail housing and speedo gears from a company called Shiftworks. both of these products will cost around a grand total. All that just to be able to go the speed limit on the interstate!

Thanks for the input bigcat, I have a 4l60e now but I think that i am going to sell it and just change out the gears. Way less headache and it should get me over the 70mph mark.

I thought about a gear change, but dont want to loose the pulling power, and wont with the 4l80e as it has the same ratio in all lower gears, but has one extra.
I tow with the truck every week.

Gear Vendors Over Drive

The only thing I don't like about it is you have to remember to change the fluid in it every 5k. miles.

I don't plan on towing with it. I have a dodge for that. It's more for hwy and being able to take it to shows (none local). I might go for a 700r4 if i can get rid of the 4l60e. As for the Gear Vendors Over Drive it's almost 3k that i would rather put towards 22"
