It was time for a new project and I needed to upgrade to a bigger tow rig so I decided to combine the two together.

3rd owner of a 95 3500 crew with a 454 in it. 115K on the odometer. Was told 10K on the rebuild.
Truck has been a tow rig all its life. Owned by a race car team for the first 100K that used it to tow a box car hauler all over the country.
Lots of plans that I’m sure will include thousands of questions for you guys.

At this point the truck will be used every weekend for towing the boat. So most of the work being done is making sure its road worthy.
It pulls strong and just got back off of a 900 mile road trip to Table Rock two weeks after the purchase.
Only upgrades that I have done to this point are stereo as the stock cassette deck had to go. Used some left over boat parts for the upgrade. It now makes a little noise….
Sony head
(2) Alpine PDX amps
Polk separates in the front doors
Polk coax in the rear
(2) JL Subs in a box behind the seat
Not the perfect install but in the limited time window it works until the interior retrofit over the winter.

Over the winter is when the transformation will begin as it can afford to sit for a week or two at a time.
