I have a 2000 chevy c3500 that I just purchased and installed a set of lowered control arms from air ride tech to help me lay out on my 22's. Everything looks great installed. However , I am still sitting about 1.5-2 inches from the frame laying out in the front. The frame is laying on the bump stops on the control arms. Where did I go wrong ? What do I need to change to make the front end lay out on 22's ??

when i had those arms combined with a 3 inch spindle i had the same issue. I wasnt on a 22 but the 16 equivalent in the overall diameter.
The guys on here just said that you need to cut the lower part of the frame where the arm hits.

Also what cups and bags are you using will make a difference as well.

I never cut the frame because i didnt want to and ended up getting some devious arms which made it worse hieght wise.

But it used a stronger ball joint. Which I kept busting on the art arms so....

Long story but hope it helps and im not full of shit hahaha

its just what i remember so..

Check your ball joints to make sure that they are not binding and preventing the suspension from traveling its full range of motion.

balljoint is not binding. You can see where the frame is laying on the lower control arm bump stops. Took the bump stops out and got another 3/4 to tuck. Have to shave out some of the control arm bracket right under the frame and should be good to go. Here is a pic of what she looks like so far. Oh on a side note. Anyone know where to get a set of clear corner lights for this truck ??? I have ordered 2 sets and both sets did not fit.

The phantom grill doesnt come over far enough to effect the corner lights. The bottom lens fits good. It is the top reflector lens that doesnt fit. As far as the wheels. Yes i have the town nasty rear wheels. Thanxs for the compliments on the truck. Still have work to do to it, atleast its driveable now.

I had the same problem with the corner lights you need GMC corners instead of chevy.
