Can you believe anyone in the world would want your guys advice? Well I do. So this last summer I sold my Hayabusa due to never getting to ride it since having my son. So I have this money I have been saving to buy a ski boat but have decided to let some of it go to my daily dually.

Now I would like to bag it and semi rim it. Which would you guys do first?

Here is my biggest dilema:

I want some 22" semis. (24" all days is just too big imo). But I want them to tuck into my fenders. I do not want to mess with the rearend and I have a 2001 HD silverado so I dont know if it is even possable to extend the plastic bedsides. So my only option would probably be the townasty wheels from Lock. I just think it would suck to pay over 4k for some semis that will just have a "hole" pattern.

So since I cant really find what I am looking for should I just bag this bitch and call it good for now?

bag it on OG's ( 16s).... be out of the norm for a dually owner.

I say just do what you want to do for now...Depending on how much money you have to spend would be what I would use as the deciding matter.

I think I would prefer getting some rims first but even the basic semis is pushing the limits of what I would like to spend. Even with the good deals you give. I can buy 2 sets of 22's for any other vehicle for less. Damn duallys.

I could powder coat them I guess. But my tires are wearing out here anyways so that is like putting even more money into the 16's that could be going towards semis.

Got to pay to play...I usually tell people who say "I have always wanted a dually", that they are getting into a whole new ballgame and price bracket. I got a set of used Alcoa circle holes that I could put you in at a decent price if can put up with some dings and scratches.

18 to 21' open bow. small block chevy inboard/outboard. Something to have some fun with out on the water. Slap a tower on it and get some wakeboarding in.

Actually the HD 2wd is the same height stock as the 4wd. I park next to a few of them at work everyday.

I dont want a ski boat with the engine in the middle. It has to be one that is in the back with a sun deck on top of it. Also need both swivel captains chairs up front. None of that back to back seating. I am so picky :)

That is so true with the duallys. Now if I could sell my S-10 I would feel alot better about dropping alot of money in my dually.

Where you at I could get you into a brand new 20' bayliner. They aren't a high end boat(no fancy bells and whistles)but they are quality built.
