Are these wheels a direct swap for the non HD trucks?

I'd really like to get a set, that is if they arent to much $$$

Plus they'd look bad ass on a dropped dually i think.

Jeff.

They are 19.5s not 19s and yes they are a direct bolt swap.

They're nicnnamed "Frito" 19.5's because they were commonly used on the aluminum-bodied step vans that Frito runs. They're the same 8x6.5 pattern that your existing 16" wheels are.

The problem you'll find is getting a tire "short" enough to run a 19.5 on a static dropped dually. The smallest tire is a 225/70/19.5 which is about 32" tall, a hair larger than a 235/85/16. So good luck with that.

Here they are on my old '98 C3500 wrecker, the tires shown are 245/70/19.5's which are about 33" tall. You've seen this truck already...

Don't confuse those wheels with the ones used on 3500HD's, which are 10 lug, not 8.

right now im running 225/75/16's.

Since the guy with the 72' backed out im going to start looking for a set of these wheels, just to see if i like them or not.

Just making sure you're not talking about the 3500HD trucks as those are a different lug pattern.

nope, the fritos, like rich was talking about, i saw a dually with a set the other day and they looked bad ass, i think they would look even more bad ass on a dropped dually.

Iv'e had to run with one of my back tires in place of the front tires before and still had extra room(i have 225/75/16's on the front and 235-85/16's on the back) i think i might have to shave the inside of my fenders and roll them out in the front.

Pretty sure no matter what you're going to run into fitment problems on anything lower than stock. They just don't make 19.5 tires short enough. They're commercial truck tires...not like you can find super low profile ones like a car tire in a non-half (.5") size. .5" are all commercial application tires. (16.5, 19.5, 22.5, etc.)
