I am having a hard timing finding a C&C rear in my local area. I found a guy selling a SRW 14 bolt out of a 1985 chevy.

My question is will my dually wheels fit this axle, right now im rocking a 16"inner. i have been researching and and have read to swap out DRW hubs to convert into a SRW, but i dont have a 14 bolt.

at his current time I have a Dana 70 DRW rear.

Any help is appreciated, i dotn want to watse my cash buying this rear. Thanks

I was reading you post and wanted to ask a stupid question, what is a C&C rear? I want to put buy some 22" truck rims for my lowered 1997 Dually but am told that I need this first. Can anyone please explain to me what this is and what I would need for these wheels to work on my lowered dually?
Thanks! C

its called a Cab & Chassis rear end....they come out of duallys that are equipped with say a flat bed or service body or something along those lines....its around 8-9 inches shorter than a stock dually rear and is used to get tires tucked under fenders....i dont have any pics of any but check out Wide Loads build thread he swapped one in his truck and done a real good job at showing how it gets the wheels tucked under the fenders on his truck....he has one on the best looking trucks on this site and i wish i woulda went the same route he did when i built mine

I did this with my 79, 3/4 and C&C are the same widths, I have no issues clearing 22's on each side inside the fenders, I had to cut out the insides of the wheel wells which will be tubbed soon.
