Ok so I have been looking for a dually, but the plan was static drop because I didnt think a bagged truck would be reliable. Can I have some pros's and cons. I have found this one and im thinking about buying it. 4400, tell me what you guys think. Also, whats the ride of a bagged truck as opposed to static drop. What are some things I should look for or ask about in regards to the bagging. And how the hell do you get antifreeze inside an air line to keep it from freezing in the winter. This truck will be kept outside cause i dont have a garage.

I'm no help on Bags cause I searched for a Static
Drop and avoided all Bagged trucks. People here
swear by Bags so I'm sure you will get responses
before too long. (More people on here weekends)

I have owned 2 bagged trucks and they were both
headaches, but I'm a hands off kinda guy and just
want to get in em and drive em, not work on them.

If they are done right they are ZERO maintenance.
(Or so I've been told, like I said not a bag expert)

I see a few issues, why is there only 1 rear shock?
why is there only one inner bed fender? how much
work is it going to need for a daily/reliable driver?

Truck looks cool, bags are fun if you want to lay it out all the time, hit switches, etc. As far as how they ride. A bagged truck rides soft compared to a static truck. But some of us LIKE that rough ride. It's kinda like the difference between donkey punching her or her laying there roofie'd out, ya know...

You shouldn't buy a bagged ride if your worried about working on it...even if there done right (everything wears out) and eventually breaks, falls off, comes apart, blows or whatever....sounds like you like a static dropped dually better. I have a slammed single cab I drive every day and have the dually bagged ready Togo play when ever and if it breaks I still have sumthin low to drive. I've always seen it if u have any bagged ride u always need that stock vehicle when your laying frame in the drive way and it doesn't want to air up that morning....but that's still a clean ass dually inside and out, and IDE say buy it

I've decided against buying it. Bottom line is, I really don't care about hitting switches and laying frame. I just want a low cool functional dually that the whole family can enjoy. I found one in Springfield mo thàt I think I'm gonna get tomorrow. I will start a build thread if I do. I'm gonna lower it 6/8 with some helper bags right off the bat and on the fence about drop shocks. Do I need em, if so which ones?

Don't have to have drop shocks, but ..............................

If your going 6/8 you will need shock extenders / relocates
on the rear to keep shocks from bottoming out. And as you
probably already know, that low requires a C-notch in rear.

If you have the funds, go ahead and get lowered shocks, as
for the helper bags I have the "Air-Lift" set-up on my 00 CC.

I've got the money and I want the best ride I can get, so if the drop shocks will give me a better ride, that's what I want. Which ones should I get? Also on the helper bags, are the air lift the ones I should get? I
Don't mind spending a little more for a better option.
I'm ordering it all on the way home from buying the truck.......yeah, I'm just a little excited!
