YOU'LL DEFINATLY HAVE TO RAISE THE FENDERS. MINE AND LOCKS AND MOST OF THE ONES I'VE SEEN ARE RAISED TO THE BODY LINE. ABOUT 2 INCHES, AND YOU'LL CLEAR HEIGHT WISE. WIDTH WISE, YOU'LL EITHER HAVE TO WIDEN THE FENDERS LIKE I DID, OR NARROW(OR SWAP OUT) YOUR AXLE LIKE LOCK DID.

Another jack here...

but if ya swap rears to the narrow bread truck do ya run into clearence on the inner wheel tubs and the frame rail? Assuming stock rails and tubs are in place?

Yes there are clearance issues there. If or when you put a bread truck axle in it, it is a whole lot easier to go ahead and build a rear frame clip and make it narrow...Just my 2 cents

you wont have to build a rear clip on your pig rig. You may have to do something with the inner tubs but they just might clear. The frames are narrower on the "box" duallys. The rear end Lock is talking about will actually bolt right up to your factory leaf springs on the boxes.

Yes yes, this being because the bbs trucks have their gastanks outside the framerails, therefore they needed to be narrower.
