I went to a suspension guy finally and got the verdict. Thanks Twisted for the hookup. It needs a rebag.Lots of substandard work. More in labor than parts.Dont wanna sell but cant afford $1000 arms so Im gonna need any info and pics on how you guys are making it happen without them. So while I am saving up if someone wants to meet my price oh well.

to find some stock a-arms. you could try ebay. or your local pull a part....

IMHO - i would put dually hubs back on and shorten some stock dually a-arms a couple inches. ( i think lock shortens them 1-1/2 inches..)
this would "push" the wheels back out and get the wheels away from the a-arms .

or..... you could buy some top arms and lengthen them out a couple inches and keep the 3/4 ton hubs..
:edit: you would also have to lengthen the lower arms as well...

here is a pic of his top a-arms. the previous owner cut big pieces out of the sides so the wheels wouldn't hit the arms.....

since this is a 2001 dually. is it supposed to originally have some tubular a-arms ?

... after a quick search on ebay. this truck is supposed to have some tubular top control arms from the factory.

looks like they used all the parts off a older squarbody 3/4 ton truck. (hubs and the top control arms)...ive never seen anybody do it like that before...

Thats a damn good price hahahaha. It most likely has ones off that body style on it anyway. The tubular ones look pretty cool though. I would love to see them side by side.

im not sure why that truck would have tube arms from the factory....we have a 06 3/4 ton duramax and 08 1 ton duramax(01-2010 have same frames) and they both have big ugly upper arms like his but incur...also on those trucks the dually hub is bolted to a 3/4 ton hub from the factory...ill go get pics in a minute

these are on a 08 dually...should be close to the same...all lifts ive seen will fit 01-2010 2500-3500 truck 2wd or 4wd so im assuming all the front suspensions are the same
