I here a lot of negative opinions on the 6.2

Can anyone give me any type of question to ask the owner?

The 6.2 will run practically forever, dunno what you've heard that is negative about it, other than it's slow. If you start trying to pump up the power on it you'll likely explode it.

The 6.5 is the one known for being a steaming pile...

Please be sure to check out my truck shop projects and remember: if I made it look easy,
it's only because you weren't here to see me kicking parts, cussing, and throwing tools.

you can throw a banks kit on it and it will be ok maybe 300 horse max. They eat starters and batteries like candy though. so plan on replaceing them, besides that there great runners just not huge power.

OMG!!!! I actually went to look at this truck back in Feb 2011. It is a PILE. No power anything, wouldn't start when we were there, Interior was shot(vinyl, and rubber mat, no headliner), and painted with what appeared to be a paint brush. The ad is still using the same pictures.

I told the guy i wouldn't go over 2 grand for it, and he said I was wasting his time.

Maybe he got it to start and run, but I'd RUN away from this one...at least that is what I done. I had just looked at the one in my sig...so I went back and bought it for a grand less than this guy is asking for.
