I've been reading online, looking at pictures of other rides, talking to people etc..

My dually's previous owner removed the cab lights from the dually. I would like to put them back on. So a couple of questions came to mind and I could use a little help. My dually is a 2000 Silverado LS.

1.) Clear cab lights, amber, clear, or smoked?

2.) Are cab light kits interchangeable. I was emailing a guy that was pretty adamant stating that the Dodge cab lights fit on our dually rooflines.

3.) For my application the set up should be 5. 2 outers and three center in a row.

4.) Any suggestions on where to get a full set of cab lights?

5.) I'm not sure what the previous owner did, I suspect the wires were left in the cab light cutouts but i'm not sure. Just to be safe, I will order the wiring kit altogether.

Comments, ideas, suggestions welcome.

Oh, and btw... the dually is on it's way. It got picked up this weekend.

I didn't want the long center light on my 07 Classic Silverado, so I used 5 01-07 factory outers lights. It turned out real good

White truck? Clear OEM-style lenses IMO, Recon makes them and they're just like the originals but clear instead of amber. They come with amber (yellow, really) LED bulbs too but you can use whatever of course. Run you about $35-$40 depending on where you get them. You'll still need the rubber bases, sockets, and screws but you should be able to boneyard or dealer that stuff easily.

I ran the clear ones on a black truck and liked them but they'd be way better on white.

Please be sure to check out my truck shop projects and remember: if I made it look easy,
it's only because you weren't here to see me kicking parts, cussing, and throwing tools.
