I have 19.5" wheels on my squarebody, with a 70 series tire on it. Its just lowered right now, but I'm getting ready to put it down on air ride, and really want a smaller sidewall tire. I can't seem to find anyone who makes a tire shorter then a 70 series.

Does anyone know if there out there? 50-60 series would be better, and something a little softer. I have continental's on there right now, and it rides like its a tow truck.

225/70/19.5 is the lowest profile tire made for the 19.5 wheels. They are all around 32" tall.

If you have aluminum wheels, we can machine them to accept a truck 19" wheel and you can get a tire all the way down to 25" if you would like.

What Trevor said...he's the Tire Master, but I'll just back him up and say yes, in a 19.5 the shortest you're gonna get is that 225/70/19.5 which you likely already have. It's also one of the most common 19.5 sizes.

It rides like a tow truck because it's a load range F tire. Try some 245/70/19.5 load range G's like I have on my HD...before the wrecker unit got mounted and I had no weight on the back, even driving around with only 60psi in them it bounced the rear so hard I broke a mudflap bracket and destroyed the dash bezel, along with just being outright literally no-wuss-exaggeration painful to drive. Now with the wrecker unit mounted I've got a respectable 80psi or so in them; I think the max load is achieved at 100~110psi in the ones I've got!

Check out Trevor's alloys that can be milled...

Richard
Please be sure to check out my truck shop projects and remember: if I made it look easy,
it's only because you weren't here to see me kicking parts, cussing, and throwing tools.
