Why do some Front fenders have Flares on them
and others Don't? (Is this personal preference?) I
always wondered was this Dealer driven, package
driven, or what? Mine's been repainted since new
so no idea if mine came w/ these when built. :?:

factory flares are only on 4wd trucks, if your truck had them you would be able to tell they have several holes drilled in the sheet metal for attachment points for the flares both on the inside of the fender as well as the outside. it would be a nightmare to try and install factory flares on a non flared fender trying to drill all the holes in the correct spot. hope this helps.
