Depends on who u are, u the garage tinker person, i'd say craftsman cause u can drive and get it warenteed and such. But if your in a shop and have tool guys coming buy all the time to rape u, should use them, because time =$, so it saves u a trip to the store.

i buy from snap on cause he the dealer comes around and there is no questions asked if you break it they replace it they may be high but its worth it to me to know it will be under warranty when i put a 15mm socket on my 1/4 air ratchet and bust it caues it will be replaced but like i said you can get good deals on other things elsewhere in the autobody/customizing world you can never have enough vise grips and if all your gonna do is weld around em or get panel bond adhesive all over them get them from a tool sale or walmart

I have been getting some Kobalt from lowes to replace lost stuff that was craftsman. Same warranty but the lowes store is closer and better hours than sear.

My Dad is a hardcore Snap-On guy...but he was a heavy equipment mechanic for a long time too.

When I was doing electrical out in the field, I bought Kline tools. When you make your living with them, it important to have quality.

That being said...

All the tools in my roll away are Craftsmen. In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with them for the things I use them for. Not to say that they are not a quality tool, they just aren't as high end as Snappy or Mac. I think they are perfect for what I need them for: weekend stuff around the house.

snap-on guy here. but i was a body tech for a long time. i tried the cheap tools at first, but when i needed them most, they would break and skin my damn knuckles. and when you go on the snap on truck to be raped, they have speciality tools which is always my money spending downfall
looks like me and campy are friends after all, but i still love the shitbox body better!!!!!!!
