Sappnin. I am about to get a bagged dually on the 1st of Sept. My question is are the bags gonna work in below freezing temps?I have seen the valve heaters but dont know anyone that uses them. Also my inlaws are telling me that I cant drive a 2wd dually in snow or ice. Any body out there braving the cold in thier bagged 2wd or am I gonna need winter beater. I want a beater anyway because of all the salt they put down up here ( Minneapolis) I have seen lots of vehicles with cancer up here.

yo what up man.? first off, if you are able to get a beater, id say do it. if not, another option i see guys do is, run the valves ect in the cab. its bit louder, but they are out of the elements. you could wrap them up with a sort of insulation type thing or use your imagination. as far as driving in the snow. first off it beats walking haha second, its like anything. be careful. take your time. if you can, run a bit of extra weight in back. and go to the nearest parking lot and start doing some doughnuts and show us the video haha naw man, you will be fine.

Well we are talking about farmers and cowboys from Montana and North Dakota who swear by 4wd. I cant slam and bag a 4x4. Well I can but not on my budget!! I am trading my stock 04 Avalanche 2wd staight up for a 97 bagged and supercharged crew cab dually. I think its a good deal. Anybody near Vegas wanna go check the truck out for me?

It's not to bad driving in the snow. Im from Idaho and it snows pretty good here at times. Just run some airline antifreeze and drive slow. Or if your valves stick you can always plow the roads. You can always stop.. if you lay it out on the frame. LOL

haha true, but then again, if you lay that bitch out on a slick road, your frame will act as a giant ski lol
