Maybe you're still a little new here but 3 hours isn't very long to give this place a chance to respond. This isn't FSC with 692,135 suckas ready to pounce on your post.

Dunno about your adapters from that tiny pic, all I can say is they look like they're green! Tell us more.

Richard

Need a bigger pic of the adapters to see them a bit better. What are you using to center the wheel to the adapter?

Just keep an eye on the roll pins they tend to allow small play in the aluminum wheels and this ends up making the holes oblong causing wear/play.

It depends on the application. Our normal everyday adapters are made from high grade of steel that has been through an annealing process. Then we build some custom stuff out of a stainless steel block that a local company makes.

What size O.D. steel are people using to make there adaptors out of. I was just trying to see what the cost difference is between making them or buying them.

I dont think the steel is the real expensive part. Price out the 40 studs and 72 lugnuts. Remember safety should be first in mind then cost. Lockone has made a ton of these and they are proven. There used to be a topic on here of a dodge dually that broke an adapter and totalled the truck.
