There are 72 total when bolting them on the truck with 32 of them being the stock lugs for the truck. Most customers do not have the factory style lugs for their truck or the stocks are too big to allow the cap to sit flush, so we offer to sell them the additional lugs to bolt the adapters to the vehicle.

The major cost in the adapters is the studs and lug nuts for the 33mm. The lugs and studs average out at around $6-7 each and the steel runs around $300 or more depending on which type/size you buy.

There are cheaper versions of these just like there is for every other part. We use a certain style because they have the best service record we have found.

i know this is an old thread, but i have some adapter related questions...

all the adapters i see are hub-centric to the truck, and then clamped down to the truck with flat washer-styled lug nuts.....

what would be the pros and cons of adapters with a conical seat drilled into each hole of 8-lug holes, so both the lugnuts and hub center te adapter? much like any other aftermarket wheel?

or better yet, suppose i had some adapters that the hub-bore was larger than my truck... instead of milling out hub-centric rings, could i just machine the lug holes to take a standard 60 degree conical lug nut?

My adapters use conical lugnuts. There is a pic on the first page of my build thread.

All of our Chevy adapters use a conical seat and hub pilot for the 8 lug pattern.

lock, what would be the draw back of just one or the other? say... not hub centric, but conical seating of the adapters only?
