Anybody running 19's with a 245/40

What size tires are you running on the 16's in the back? My dad just got some 19's for his dually and wants to run a 245/40, but we are having a hard time finding a 16" tire for the back.

225/60/16 is .09" smaller than the 245/40/19

I can't remember the 19' tire size but I am running a 215/70/16 and it is just a hair bigger than the 19.

I am tinkin I went to a 245/45/19 when I bought new tires

215/70/16==27.85"
245/45/19==27.68"
16s are .17" bigger

I ran a 215/70 with mine. But I would compare specs because different tire manufacturers will be slightly different in size

I am running what ever lock told me to use and it is working out just fine.
