Whats the fastest way to remove the bed on a dually? I found a bed for a 100 and need to swap mine. Does the rear bumper need to come off?

Take out the 8 bolts, unplug the wiring and lift it off, I don't think you need to remove the bumper, I can't remember what the bumper even looks like.

Oh yeah three or 4, 7mm or 8mm screws for the filler neck and remove the gas cap.

Make sure you have a few strong bodies as they are heavy, especially with the hips on it.

Same bed for all years of the body style.*

I usually take the whole filler neck shroud loose with the three torx bolts behind the gas door, just look so that you're getting them and not the two that hold the door hinge itself on.

Don't forget ground strap from filler neck to bed, and ground strap at the rear where taillight harness grounds, and disconnect the taillight harness at the end of the driver's side frame rail.

* the only difference between any of them is the older ones have the chicken lights across the tailgate; newer ones have a three lamp strip in the gap above the bumper.
