I contacted AMP Research the other day and talked to a salesman there and he was very helpful but we came to the conclusion that they do not make a ready fit kit for anything older than a NBS 99 truck. I was wanting to get a PowerStep for my crew cab for giggles now but it will have more use when I get my lift kit. So he is my question, regarding the area directly under the doors where these things would bolt up and the wiring for the power and the lights, do any of you know if anything changed in this area to where this kit wouldn't work? I realize it wouldn't be an easy bolt on like it would be on a 99 NBS. I was trying to figure out which would be the best kit for me!
