hello folks, first post here,.. i have a 1981 chevy K-30 454 4speed 4 wheel drive. i would like to know if their is a 5 speed that will work in my truck. i pull a car hauler trailer and 26 foot camper with it and would like to run out on the road better.

Don't the dodge ones have a more desirable ratio, and pretty much bolt on also?
