Ok on my way to work cold start oil psi runs between 60-80 for 10 mins. Drops to 37-40 on gas
On idel sits 20, Lately its been dropping past 20 after running for 45mins plus. Two times it wanted to throw the o mark n check gauge light.Hit gas light off.. No ticking or nothing, 124,000 .. Any help

Oil pickup tube may have small blockage or pump is just starting to wear out.

go get a cheap oil gauge and install it to see if there is any problems. could be a bad sender.

but also be careful, my oil pump pick up tube fell off and toasted my 454..

Can't say I've seen pumps wear out, though the spring in them can get weak. I'd suspect the sender before anything else.
