BUILD IT FOR HOW YOU USE IT. I PULLED MY BIG BLOCK AND THREE SPEED OUT, AND PUT IN A SMALL BLOCK AND OVER DRIVE. I REBUILT IT. WENT WITH A LITTLE BIGGER CAM, HAD EVERYTHING CLEANED UP. RUNS GOOD. GOOD POWER. GOOD MILAGE. I'LL DROOL LIKE A DOG IN HEAT AT THE BLOWER SITTING OUT OF THE HOOD OF ANYTHING, BUT I LIKE MY 18 MPG, AND LOW RPM CRUISING SPEED.

What LOWBOY said is a good answer and if you are going to use it just for show build the piss out of it. If you are going to street it on long trips build it for gas mileage and pulling. JM2C

You can always build it to be a great street/tow motor and still dress it nice enough for show.....

yeaaaa I was about to type that... I'd focus on detailing the piss outta it, and keep away from like 12:1 or anything crazy.

Just put a cam with a torq grind and an intake, carb set up, with a set headers. you'll be able to tow, it will sound nice ,and most inporten you will be able to light up the tires on demand!

Just a bigblock with an rv/towing cam would be a great driver and have plenty of gogo.
