I've got a 73 1 ton dually that I am wanting to do this swap in.

So if I've got the tranny ready to go what else am I going to need? Any crossmember modifications? Drive shaft length differences? Anything else I need to know?

Any help is appreciated.

do you have a computer for the tranny? if not, you will either need one, or you could get a raptor tranny that is a stand alone 4l80e. i think the drive shaft may be different yolks, and will need to be a bit shorter. crossmember will work, may need to be moved back a little. later, brian

I've got a tranny already but I have no idea what kind of shape it is in at all so I may just end up going with the new trans route.

The TCI controller is expensive as hell but someone told me a while back that they found one on eBay cheap, used but working. I think it normally sells for right at a grand.
