Im in the middle of a rebuild on my chevy dually. 86 1 ton. The bed needs way to much work and its the last part of the job. I have tried to search online but think maybe my paramiters might be wrong. Hoping some fellow dually owners might be able to help me out here. Thank you in advance for any input or help you may be able to give.

You're prolly gonna have to drive south to find one that isn't rotten. Craigslist here in SC has quite a few WHOLE running trucks for sale. You could prolly find a truck in the $1500 and up range. Then either part the truck out or sell it whole with you old bed.

You should also take into consideration that the bed sides unbolt, any standard fleetside bedside will work with minor trimming and smarts, you should only be in the hole 100 a side, I have done this a few times. Good luck

710 bucks for a c30 cc dually with no motor and no reserve sitting at 720 bucks right now... ends in like 16 hours.
