I tried to put a middle row seat out of a suburban in my truck and found out the floor is not the same shape. This might not be an issue for carpet though, it would be interesting to see who has done it.

I am not sure about where you live but anymore the wrecking yard rape people on the prices... sometimes it is cheaper to get it new. I went to stockinteriors.com and found carpet for you truck for $140 without shipping.

Used carpet is almost always ass, anyway. Remember most junkyards will remove doors, windows, etc. and leave the interior open to get rained in, dirt, local wildlife living and shitting in it...etc.

Mass backing is a thick, rubber backing like factory that cuts down heat and noise. Poly backing is thin and more flexible, but is more prone to let the heat and noise through.
Mass back costs more to ship because it can't be folded as easily.
